Like Sadō (Art of tea), or Kadō (Art of flowers) Uchimizu art is one of the traditional Japanese expressions of Wabi, Sabi or traditional Japanese art designating a life without worries away from worldly life. A lifestyle of refined aesthetics, synonymous with solitude in simplicity and serenity.

This keikogi was made with the so-called "Okumi" method used in Kyoto for the making of traditional Japanese kimono allowing to keep a beautiful shape and to adapt perfectly to the hakama while avoiding loosening and overflowing for optimum comfort. The fluidity of iaido movements will be improved due to the properties of its light and stretchable fabric.
