1. Kataginu (English) : sleeveless jacket with wide, rigid shoulder pads. It covers the upper body and is characterized by its prominent shoulders and loose fit.
2. Hakama (袴) : loose hakama pants, often pleated, which are worn over a kimono. They tie at the waist with ribbons and go down to the ankle.
