No longer produced these days, this type of kimono is becoming increasingly rare in Japan, and is unfortunately doomed to disappear! It is most often purchased by foreign tourists passing through Japan.
Japanese men only wear it on rare occasions, such as wedding ceremonies or other exceptional events.
